My Story
My experiences with rare head/neck cancer have profoundly shaped the way I think about work, healthcare, and the role of kindness in our lives. In early 2024, shortly after another recurrence and surgery, I took a sabbatical to focus on writing, flying paragliders, and think through the next steps in my career.
During that time, one of the things I learned is that I am extremely interested in roles where my lived experience with healthcare - and oncology specifically - could be leveraged. Whether this is in a clinical or technology setting, I am eager to contribute to work that has a tangible impact on people dealing with life-altering conditions.
There's more to my story of course, and I am currently in the process of writing a memoir. Please join me on that journey over on Substack.
