I led the team responsible for all data exchange with our insurance carrier partners. In that time, I authored the official 834 X12 technical guidance and iteratively improved our implementation of Edifecs.
When I joined the exchange, our audit processes were antiquated, requiring tons of manual work. From business case to implementation, I led efforts to architect and build a comprehensive solution, which is still in use today.
Big IT initiatives need to be clearly articulated to business stakeholders. I helped non-technical folks across the org understand the rationale for cloud modernization, using change management techniques.
After serving as a team lead and product owner, I moved into a management role, providing coaching and support to team leads and business analysts.
I introduced the organization to business architecture and founded a team that collaboratively tackled big problems, providing guidance to executives and leaders.
From value stream mapping to reorganizing team structures to better align with future state system design, I've played a leading role in continuous improvement efforts and projects across the organization.
